About Eric Willliams:

Eric has been performing in Sedona for 20 years playing his music in a variety of venues thrilling audiences whenever & wherever he performs. Eric's musical influences are wide ranging; his abilities encompass many instruments and styles. He plays piano, sax, guitar, dobro, harmonica, and several other instruments.

His favorite performance pieces are from the American songbook (Sinatra, Nat King Cole), Soul/R&B (Ray Charles, Al Hibbler), 50s Rock & Roll (Elvis, Fats Domino, Jerry Lee Lewis), Blues (Muddy Waters, Robert Johnson), Country (Johnny Cash, Dwight Yoakum), Classical piano (Bach, Beethoven), and even Ragtime (Scott Joplin)… certainly a wide variety!

Eric is a rare talent, there are few in the music world that do all that he can do. Eric is a Pittsburgh, PA area native, he earned his 4 year music degree at Slippery Rock University. Over the years, people have been intrigued by the fact that while Eric was studying for his Masters in Music at Youngstown University, Ohio, graduating Summa Cum Laude; he spent his summers touring in his vintage Cadillac and Airstream trailer along Route 66 (from Chicago to LA) playing the old honky tonks and roadhouses and returning each Fall to PA to finish his schooling. On one of these summertime tours Eric found and fell in love with Sedona.

He’s traveled many places and lived and played in Nashville, The Grand Canyon, Phoenix, Prescott, Flagstaff, Pittsburgh, Memphis, San Francisco, London, England, Cancun, Puerta Vallarta, & Cabo San Lucas Mexico but always returns to his first love Sedona.

He's played piano concertos with symphony orchestras, and with ensembles of all types, rock and roll bands, jazz trios, country duos and solo. Eric has also backed other performers in the Nashville studios and here in Arizona. This is the first time Eric will perform his phenomenal show specifically designed to showcase his many talents at the beautiful Sedona Creative Life Center.

He will be performing pieces exclusively designed to showcase the center’s Steinway Grand piano as well as his love for his chosen hometown of Sedona. This show is a very special event as it is also the debut a release of his new CD set Sedona Is The Place to Be and Sedona Moonrise. Both will be available for sale at the show. We hope you enjoy both the show and his new CDs.
