The Angels on My Stage Concerts showcase music from Eddie’s new CD, Lovers Never Say Goodbye, a remarkable collection of songs of longing, passion and joy. Predominantly instrumental, these songs allow the universal language of music to speak to the soul of the listener with a love that is beyond the usual experience, one that is conveyed in one song’s title, “Beyond Love Itself.”

Eddie Benitez

Eddie Benitez became a jazz legend at the age of 14 when he appeared on stage at Madison Square Garden in front of 20,000 people with numerous jazz greats. He dazzled audiences then, and put out two gold records by the age of 15 with Latin label Fania Records and his band Nebula. His career was interrupted at the age of 23 by cancer, but Eddie received a complete and miraculous healing from the illness. He then took time to reflect on life and spirituality, and returned to the music world writing and producing for many dance acts in the 80s. Eddie eventually returned to creating his own music and we are now hearing his music created and produced through his own independent label, TiaraMuzik. As an independent artist he is able to follow his passion and creativity wholeheartedly and the result is Eddie as we’ve never heard him before with the music of Lovers Never Say Goodbye.
