SARK

SARK (Susan Ariel Rainbow Kennedy) is the best-selling author and artist of eleven books, with a twelfth being released in early 2004.  She is founder and president of Camp SARK, a company offering products and services to inspire creative living, such as posters, calendars and inspirational cards.  Come visit the Inspired World of SARK on Saturday February 7, 2004, 1 to 4 pm in the Great Room.  Book signing to follow.  Admission $35.  Call Sedona Creative Life Center for tickets: 928-282-9300.  Visit SARK's website at  www.campsark.com

SARK is one of ten women featured in the PBS series, "Women of Wisdom and Power," and is one of the facilitators on "Cheryl Richardson's Life Makeover Series" on the Oxygen network.

SARK was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and her first (and favorite) job was as Wake-Up Fairy in kindergarten. She studied at the Minneapolis Art Institute, University of Tampa, and the University of Minnesota before her parents begged her to graduate from something. She graduated from the School of Communication Arts in Radio/TV production.

SARK is a recovering procrastinator/perfectionist who practices what she teaches, and lives in a Magic Cottage in San Francisco, California with her "fur husband" cat, Jupiter.

Karen Drucker

Karen has recorded 6 albums of her original inspirational music and has won numerous awards for her volunteer work for performing and producing shows for organizations in need.  She has been a performer for "Bread and Roses" (doing shows in convalescent hospitals, prisons, children's hospitals, etc) for the past 24 years and has been the spokesperson for the organization speaking at media events and to various groups about the effect live music has on people confined to hospitals and institutions.  She started her own organization Artists For A Cause to raise awareness and funds for organizations in need by producing concerts featuring local entertainers.

Our favorite music by Karen is Songs of the Spirit II, her popular album of inspirational, positive-affirmational sing-a-long chants.  It includes eleven song/chants that can be used for healing, gratitude, starting and ending the day.

Songs of the Spirit II

She has been the music director for three different Religious Science churches for the past 10 years, the music director for the UCRS Regional and National Conferences and co-music director for RSI's Asilomar conference. She sings and speaks at women's retreats, all kinds of mind, body, & health conferences and various churches around the country and performs music for authors like SARK, Joan Borysenko, Dr. Fred Luskin, and Oriah Mountain Dreamer.  For more information, and to hear samples of her music, visit Karen's website at  www.karendrucker.com
